More informationProfile:
In a music scene saturated with uninspired, sound-alike rock bands, More Than Nothing has emerged as a breath of fresh air for music lovers in the Dallas area. More Than Nothing fuses a raunchy, distorted guitar edge with catchy melodies that are at times ethereal, other times jagged, and always memorable. In a masterful blend of driving rhythms and lyrical hooks, More Than Nothing conjures the spirit of rock’n’roll without sounding like a carbon-copy of its influences. The originality of their compositions backed up by stirring stage execution sets More Than Nothing apart from the confused, visionless bulk of Dallas rock bands. Be on the lookout for this up-and-coming rock outfit at premier venues in the Dallas area and around the state of Texas.

A Brief History:
In the summer of 2004, Dallas music scene veteran Danny Skinner, formerly of The Gemini Program teamed up with veteran Far Star bassist and long-time collaborator Josh Warr, to play guitar in a new project. With drummer Bill Klimczuk of Delvecko fame, and bassist Chris Ivey, a veteran of many Dallas bands, More Than Nothing took shape. The band is currently writing feverishly in preparation for a CD release in early 2005.
